Campgrounds & RV parks

Transient and full-time site rentals, upgraded into grid capacity.

One build serves both sides of your rental inventory: metered pedestals that bill nightly guests for exactly what they use, and full-time seasonal loops enrolled as dispatchable capacity that pays you every month.

By rental type

Nightly sites and full-time sites earn in different ways.

Dwell time decides the design. Short stays are a metering and billing problem; long stays are a capacity asset. Parks that rent both get a phased build that captures each.

Transient rentals

Nightly and weekly transient sites

Guests roll in between 3 and 8pm towing EVs and expecting to plug in. Without metering, that arrival peak is pure cost; with it, it is billable revenue and a booking advantage.

Rental profile

Typical dwell
1–7 nights, concentrated evening arrivals
Pedestal mix
30A/50A full hookup, some 20A tent and cabin drops
Primary return
Metered charging revenue and occupancy lift

What we install

  • Per-site submetering so electricity is billed to the stay instead of the nightly rate
  • Managed charging that flattens the 3–8pm arrival peak automatically
  • Reservation-linked billing so charges land on the guest folio at checkout
  • Tow-vehicle charging posts you can advertise in your listing and booking engine

Transient loops typically justify themselves on recovered electricity and EV-towing bookings alone.

Full-time rentals

Seasonal, annual and full-time resident sites

Long-term tenants keep rigs, park models and vehicles connected for months. That standing battery capacity is what utilities will actually pay to dispatch.

Rental profile

Typical dwell
Full season to year-round occupancy
Pedestal mix
50A service, frequently at or near loop feeder capacity
Primary return
Demand response, capacity programs and demand-charge savings

What we install

  • V2G-ready bidirectional pedestal retrofits on long-term loops first
  • Loop-level load management so more electrification does not force a service upgrade
  • Utility program enrollment for rigs and vehicles that stay connected
  • Tenant agreements with opt-in dispatch windows and a share of program revenue

Full-time loops are usually phase one — the dwell time makes dispatch predictable enough to enroll.

Mixed inventory

Parks that rent both, plus cabins and amenities

Most parks run transient loops, seasonal loops, cabins, a bathhouse and a pool on one service. A hub sized to the whole property trims the peak all of it creates.

Rental profile

Typical dwell
Mixed nightly, seasonal and year-round amenity load
Pedestal mix
100–400 sites plus cabins, laundry, pool and office
Primary return
Demand-charge savings plus outage resilience

What we install

  • Demand-charge shaving against pool pumps, laundry, offices and cabin load
  • Outage support for water systems, bathhouses, gates and reservation systems
  • Loop-by-loop phasing so the first section's revenue funds the next
  • Owner reporting that separates transient, seasonal and amenity energy

Mixed parks usually start with one full-time loop and the amenity-side demand savings in the same phase.

Should you request a site assessment?

0/5 answered

Five quick questions. No contact details needed — you get an answer on this page.

1. What kind of property do you run?
2. How many slips, sites, or units are on the property?
3. What does your electrical service look like today?
4. Do you control decisions about the property?
5. When would you want power work to happen?

Answer all five questions to see whether an assessment makes sense.
