For boat owners

Your battery pays your dock fee. You still decide when.

Enrolled vessels at a GridLynQ hub earn from grid dispatch while they sit tied up. Up to 90% of those earnings are credited straight back to you — against your slip fee first, then any pack upgrade you financed with us, then paid out in cash. You set the hours, the reserve, and the moment you want out.

Control stays with you

Enrollment is a schedule you write, not a right you hand over.

You author the schedule

Pick the days and the hours you are plugged in and available. Weekends, holidays and the whole cruising season can sit outside your window. Nothing dispatches outside it.

A reserve we never touch

Set a state-of-charge floor. The hub stops there, every time, so the boat is always ready to leave the dock with the charge you asked for.

One-tap Away

Heading out unplanned? Tap Away in the portal and your pack drops out of dispatch immediately. No call, no ticket, no penalty.

The pack stays warranted

Cycling stays inside the manufacturer's envelope, we monitor state of health continuously, and GridLynQ carries the performance and replacement obligation on financed capacity.

Commit more, keep more

Your share of dispatch earnings rises with the availability you commit. Move up a tier whenever you like — the change takes effect the following month.

6+ committed days a week

Six or more committed days. Highest share, first call on upgrade financing.

Credited earnings are applied to your account in the order shown in the estimator: dock and slip fees, then financed upgrade payments, then cash. Availability is metered, so a pack that is plugged in earns more than a pack that is not.

What would your dock bill look like?

Move the sliders. Everything updates live, including how long a financed upgrade takes to pay for itself out of credits alone.

Where the credit goes

The rest — 20% — is the fee you pay the hub to take part. It buys the trading desk that sells your pack's capacity, the metering and settlement behind these figures, and active management of the pack itself: charge and discharge inside the limits that keep it healthy, so it works for its living and still lives its longest life.

Getting enrolled

  1. 1

    Check your numbers

Walk the four-step onboarding — dock, vessel, pack and the hours you want to commit — and the estimator opens with your own numbers in it.

  2. 2

    Eligibility review

We confirm the pack chemistry, inverter class and shore connection against the certified equipment list at your marina, and size any upgrade.

  3. 3

    Enroll and commission

You sign the participation agreement, we fit revenue-grade submetering at your slip and commission the bidirectional connection.

  4. 4

    Credits start

Every dispatched kWh is metered and credited on your monthly statement — dock fee first, financing second, cash to you after that.

Questions owners ask first

Do I have to buy a battery?

No. You can enroll the pack you already have, or add capacity financed through GridLynQ and paid down out of your own credits. Either way there is no upfront cost to enroll.

What if I want to use the boat during a committed window?

Tap Away and you are out of dispatch immediately. Your availability score for that month drops slightly, which is the only consequence — there is no fee and no breach.

Why can't I just opt in event by event?

Because the hub sells firm capacity to the utility, and firm means scheduled in advance. A window you author yourself is the compromise: you decide the hours, we only need to know them ahead of time.

Who claims the tax credit?

The site entity that owns the enrolled storage system claims and monetises the energy credit, and that value flows back to you through the credit-back rate and the upgrade financing terms — not as a credit on your personal return. Your own adviser should review anything tax-related before you sign.

What happens when I sell the boat?

Enrollment transfers with the vessel if the buyer wants it, or you exit at the end of your term. Financed capacity is settled at the exit balance shown on your statement.

Not at a GridLynQ hub yet?

Tell us where you keep the boat. We approach marinas and boat yards where there is owner demand first, and a signed interest list moves a site up the queue.
